THE STORY OF THE BREAKFAST

I would like you to know that we produce all the ingredients in our hometown under our brand name “Antakya Bakkalı”, and we use these ingredients in the recipes i prepared with my mother Mrs.Dahiye.

My mother still helps us in Hatay for the production of these raw materials with the other women in our village. To produce these products in natural conditions and in order to preserve these seasonal products during a year, she uses these 3 methods:

Cooking in low temperature, sun or shade drying, and pickling with olive oil.

That’s why I got inspired by my mother who is the best chef ever, while preparing this breakfast tray. And also i wanted to give her name to this breakfast for these reasons. We present you our breakfast in our wooden tray with the varieties Sweet Antioch, Salted Antioch, Warm Antioch, Cheese Plate, Menemen, Sourdough Bread (made of a 23 years old yeast) and with our Tandoori Bread.

We combined the different breakfast flavours that we tasted in Antioch City and we prepared this breakfast with my mother for you.
